Health Benefits
Healthcare Contributions & Medical

Sibros offers medical plans through Blue Shield and Kaiser Permanente contributing 90% of employee and 65% of dependent(s) cost towards the High Option Base Gold PPO or HMO plan.  The dollar value of the Sibros base Gold plan Contribution will apply towards all options.

  • 3 PPO options available nationwide through Blue Shield
  • 3 HMO options available through Kaiser Permanente (California-based employees only)
  • 1 HDHP HMO with HSA option available through Kaiser Permanente (California-based employees only)
Health Savings Account (HSA) Bank Account

If you elect in a high deductible plan, Sibros offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) account. Sibros contributes a set amount into your HSA bank account, based on the medical plan you select.  An HSA account allows you to contribute pre-tax payroll deductions based on the IRS maximum to use towards eligible healthcare expenses.

Dental Insurance

PPO dental coverage is provided through Guardian Dental.

Vision Benefits

PPO vision coverage is provided through Guardian/VSP Vision. PPO benefits provide coverage after a $10 copay for exam and $25 copay for materials with exam and lenses every 12 months and frames every 24 months.

Sibros offers employees and dependents free support services at no cost to employees

A three session per person, per issue, per year is offered through IHB/Guardian covered 100% by Sibros

Group Life / AD&D Insurance

Sibros provides eligible employees with $50,000 group term Life and AD&D insurance through Guardian, offered at no cost to employees.

Group Long Term Disability Insurance

This benefit is offered at no cost to employees as Sibros covers 100% of the LTD plan, provided through Guardian.

Group Short Term Disability

This benefit is offered at no cost to employees as Sibros covers 100% of the STD plan, provided through Guardian.

Voluntary Life / AD&D Insurance

Optional additional Life and AD&D coverage is available to you and your family at your own expense on a payroll deducted basis, provided by Guardian.

Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance

Optional Critical Illness coverage is available to you and your family at your own expense on a payroll deducted basis with coverage providing lump sum payments for critical illness.

401K plans are provided by Guideline and employees are automatically enrolled after a 90-day eligibility period.

Employees can defer personal income, not to exceed $20,500 for 2022, and an additional $6,000 catch-up contribution for those age 50 or above.

Maternity Leave

Women employees who have completed 80 days of continuous employment are entitled to paid maternity leave of up to 26 weeks.

Paternity & Adoption Leave

Up to 8 weeks of paid time off after 80 days of continuous service and in accordance with Company policy and eligibility requirements.

Gratuity

Gratuity shall be payable to an employee on the cessation of the employment after she/he has rendered continuous service for not less than five (5) years on the employee’s superannuation, retirement or resignation, or death or disablement due to accident or disease.

Provident Fund

Two options given to employee: 1) Rs. 1800 from both employer and employee, or 2) a maximum of 12% of basic salary contribution from both the employer and employee.
